This time of year, our lawns experience some flip flopping of extreme weather – hot and dry or wet and stormy! We’ll do our best to make sure that you still receive the best service possible during these tumultuous conditions, but we need your help to do so!

What we can do:

1. Skip service. We are a weekly company, but we allow every customer one skip per season. If your lawn is needing a break, call us and we can skip your mow for that week only. In extreme conditions where your lawn needs a lot of TLC before it can be mowed again, we can put your service on hold for several weeks until it recovers. Keep in mind: We do NOT provide bi-weekly service, and will not honor multiple skips.

2. If we’re out in your area mowing and rain starts coming down, we’ll do our best to still get you mowed that day. If the rain is light, we’ll keep mowing and the lawn should still look great. If the storm gets heavy, we’ll stop for the day and pick any leftover accounts up the next morning to ensure that you don’t have a messy, wet mow.

What you can do:

1. Water according to the weather. That means that you should be watering in short bursts frequently during rainy times, and less frequently for longer during dry times. This will ensure that the lawn stays hydrated all the time in accordance to what’s falling (or not falling) from the sky.

2. Help us help you! Let us know if your lawn is growing really quickly or not really growing at all. We can then adjust the height at which we mow your property to accommodate your lawn and your preferences. If it’s really growing and looking shaggy after a few days, tell us to take it down a few notches. If the lawn is suffering, we’ll do the opposite, and mow on a higher setting until it starts flourishing again. Remember, every customer has different preferences, so unless we hear from you, we don’t change the mow height from the current setting for your property.
