The service season is from March to November. Our services are a general agreement between the customer and Erbert Lawns to provide service for the length of the season. The exception would be real estate sale, illness, or vacation service. You may cancel service at any time.
One of our top priorities is to show up in a timely manner when services are due. Each crew gets to decide if they would like to work the day of the holiday; therefore some of us will be working during the holiday. Generally we are a day behind when a holiday occurs.
Items in the Grass:
Please have your yard clean and free of any debris on the day of service. Please do not leave animal waste in the yard! Toys, hoses, pots, tents, bikes, skateboards and an assortment of other items are often left in the grass, assuming we will move them. Large items such as trampolines, plastic swings, etc. we will move if you agree not to hold us responsible for damaging them because many are weathered & easy to break. Lawn technicians try to keep gates closed during and after the service, but we recommend having your pet indoors during service and are not responsible for missing pets.
As you are probably aware, we often get thunderstorms in Colorado in the afternoons. If we get rained out, we will generally make up the service on the following day. We will use Saturdays and Sundays as a makeup day if needed.
If we damaged a sprinkler head we will fix it free of charge. If the sprinkler system is installed properly this problem will not occur. The most common problem is that the head sets too high off the ground.
Our business is built on dependability and reliability. The biggest complaint we hear from prospective customers is about other companies not showing up to do the work. We have been caring for lawns for 35 years and have gained a reputation for reliability and dependability. If you know of a friend or neighbor who might need our service, please give them our name and number. If that person signs up for a program, we will give each of you a $40 credit on your account!
All services are automatically renewed each season unless you contact us and cancel. Only the services you had the previous season will be renewed automatically. If you want additional services you must contact Erbert Lawns and schedule the additional services.
All services are billed on a credit/debit card posting the day after the service has been completed. Accounts not paid within 90 days past due shall be sent to a collections agency.
